IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday. Do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

 

Student answer (Band 6.0)

In the coming years, People will go for holidays in their own countries and they don't travel in other countries. I am not completely agree or disagree with that.

In my perspective, the abroad trips are getting expensive day by day. And the crime rate is also increasing in the world. According to me some people think that why they will waste a good amount of their money on those things which are not safer anymore. Instead of wasting so much money on trips they will enjoy their holidays with their family by going to nearby destinations which are safer and beautiful.

On other hand the people which are financial strong, open-minded and brave they want to travel world to see it, because our world is so beautiful and full of adventures. These kind of people want to explore different cultures, different kind of food and different environment . According to me this is also good, because it will gives you more new experiences. And this also gives an opportunity to gain more knowledge which will help in the future to become more successful and more innovative. Secondly, it will give so many options which you want to do in your future in terms of studies, business, and where you want to live.

In conclusion, there are many types of people in the world we will not predict future on the basis of anything, because we don't know but others will do in their future. If we did it then we might be wrong.
