Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that people would prefer to travel to their own country instead of exploring other countries. I totally disagree with this staement and will explain my view point with explanation and examples.
In this fast-paced world, people are getting bored of the daily hectic workload and nine to five office jobs. They always curious to explore something new weather its going to be a country, culture or tradition in future. Their roots always remain in them but they will never visit the same place several times that they already know about. For instance, a survey report shows that 75% of the bussiness owners cancle their trips to their own countries as they know their culture and traditions already and they ends up with online meetings.
On the other hand, the generation that we have right now they never wants to sit in one place they always in a rush to explore new areas , new cloths food. They likes to do experiments new practicles. Thats how they improve their professional and personal skills and more experienced in such young ages because they adapt the culture in them and never felt ashamed of learning new languages and working in multi cultural communities. For Example, young generation always wanted to study abroad last year about 85% pakistani students left their country to come to canada for taking their Master's degree.
In conclusion to that, everyone has their own arguments on the specific statement but I strongly diagree to that with explanations and examples.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by clearly taking a stance against the idea that people will solely holiday in their own countries. The writer attempts to support their position with examples, such as the survey of business owners and the trend of Pakistani students moving to Canada. However, the development of these ideas is limited and at times logically strained. For instance, the example regarding business owners canceling trips for online meetings does not strongly support the premise that people prefer international leisure travel over domestic holidays, and the example about studying abroad shifts from tourism to long-term migration/education. Consequently, the task is addressed in a somewhat generalized and underdeveloped manner, aligning best with a Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into four paragraphs, including an introduction and conclusion. However, the progression of ideas is often disjointed and lacks a clear overall flow. While cohesive devices like 'For instance' and 'On the other hand' are utilized, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'the generation that we have right now they never wants to sit in one place'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas within paragraphs feels arbitrary rather than logically structured around distinct central topics. These issues with internal cohesion and logical progression reflect the characteristics of a Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with several lexical errors and misspellings throughout the text. Examples include 'staement' for statement, 'view point', 'weather' for whether, 'bussiness', 'cancle', 'cloths' for clothes, and 'practicles' for practices. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey simple messages, but frequent spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'they always curious' missing a verb, cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band. This performance is consistent with a Band 5.0 for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences alongside poorly controlled complex attempts. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as missing auxiliary verbs ('they always in a rush'), subject-verb agreement errors ('the generation that we have right now they never wants'), and tense inconsistencies. Punctuation is also weak, particularly with run-on sentences like 'They likes to do experiments new practicles. Thats how they improve...' These persistent errors cause frequent strain and difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar firmly at a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0.
