Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing why more people might choose to holiday in their own country in the future. A clear position is stated in the introduction ("I am agree with the statement"), and the writer attempts to provide supporting reasons, such as economic benefits for the nation and lower travel costs. However, the development of these ideas remains somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the points about tourist locations and financial growth are stated generally rather than fully extended with specific, concrete examples. The argument would be stronger if the ideas were elaborated with deeper explanations. Consequently, the task response aligns best with Band 5, as the ideas are presented but remain under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is organised into basic paragraphs with a clear introduction and conclusion. The writer attempts to sequence ideas using transitional markers such as "To begin with", "secondly", "Furthermore", and "In conclusion". However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, phrases like "there are many reasons behind it why people like..." are repetitive and awkward, and the flow between sentences is occasionally disrupted by grammatical inaccuracies. Paragraphing is present, but the overall progression of ideas lacks sophistication. These features place the response firmly at Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on general terms such as "things", "nation", and "money". There are numerous word choice and collocation errors, such as writing "all the countries developiong day by day" instead of developing, "internation trips" instead of international trips, and "vocations" instead of vacations. The student also writes "I am agree" instead of "I agree". While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic meaning of the argument, the frequent errors and restricted range prevent the response from reaching Band 6.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple and repetitive compound sentences connected by conjunctions like "and" and "because". Attempts at complex structures often result in faulty syntax and run-on sentences, such as "Furthermore, there is one more most important thing is it is chepest..." and "...when individuals buy something they spend money which helps country to grow financialy." Punctuation errors are frequent, and basic grammatical rules—such as subject-verb agreement and article usage—are regularly overlooked. These frequent structural errors which cause some difficulty for the reader place the essay at Band 4.5.
