Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is certainly true that people like travelling. However, it is considered by some individuals that more people will like to enjoy their holiday with their nation instead of visiting overseas, whereas i am not agree with this statement because of some subscript reasons.
To commence pointing out why people would be not gone their own countires.First of all, they will feel bore and not excited to visit there. In other words, they already expore their nation's places if they go there numbers of times then they can not enjoy because there is no new anything for them for watching. So they will prefer to go abroad.
On the other side, there are number of causes people will willing to go other nations.Firstly, people will go foreign nation for getting new experience.because all nations are speacial for their different beauty including hills, lakes, fountains, lands, infrastructures, museums, castles and other monuments, which they can see by visting there, and these things not present in one nation so if they want to get new experince they have to visit abroad. For example, Disney land situated in california, USA .Therefore, if people want to do different activities such as ride roller, sleeping beauty castle, watch fireworks, family rides on horses, live show and pradesthen they will like to go this place rather instead of their own nation.Apart from these, nowadays mostly people are earning money for travelling in abroad with their family members for making beautiful memories with them. Thus, these are reasons of choosing foreign nations for making holidays.
To sum up,ofter considering all the factors.I think people will go overseas for their holidays because of aforementioned reasons.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by presenting a clear position regarding whether people will holiday domestically in the future. The writer disagrees with the prompt and provides relevant ideas to support this view, such as the desire for new experiences and international attractions. However, the development of these ideas is uneven. While the example of Disneyland in California is provided to support the discussion about foreign travel, other points remain somewhat under-developed or briefly stated, reflecting the characteristics of a response positioned between partial coverage and fully extended ideas. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to ensure that every main idea is thoroughly elaborated with deeper explanations and more robust supporting details rather than relying on brief assertions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear stance maintained from the introduction to the conclusion, showing some elements of logical progression. Paragraphing is used to separate different arguments, with a distinct introduction, body paragraphs, and a concluding summary. Nevertheless, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty due to awkward transitional phrases such as 'To commence pointing out why people would be not gone their own countires' and 'On the other side'. Furthermore, referencing and pronoun usage occasionally lack clarity, making the logical flow feel disjointed in places. To improve, the writer should employ a wider and more natural variety of cohesive devices and ensure smoother transitions between sentences and paragraphs.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for the task, providing enough words to communicate the main arguments. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'infrastructure', 'monuments', and 'aforementioned', but these attempts are accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and form, such as 'subscript reasons', 'expore', 'pradesthen', and 'travelling in abroad'. Spelling errors and awkward phrasing also occur throughout the text. These lexical inaccuracies occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band. To advance, the student must expand their vocabulary range, focus on correct word forms, and pay closer attention to natural collocations and standard spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on basic patterns alongside attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty, such as in 'whereas i am not agree with this statement because of some subscript reasons' and 'if they go there numbers of times then they can not enjoy because there is no new anything for them for watching'. There are frequent errors in verb forms, articles, prepositions, and sentence boundaries, such as missing auxiliaries and run-on phrasing. Although the meaning can generally be deciphered, these persistent errors cause distraction and difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to incorporate a wider variety of accurate complex structures and improve basic grammatical control, particularly regarding subject-verb agreement and prepositional usage.
