Student answer (Band 5.5)

In contemporary world traveling is one of the best leassur activiry between the people. In next decade most of individual will choose their mother land as travel destibation, rather than going for forien countries. Whlie I accept this statement and and I belive people have to give some prority about the attractive places for there country.

To begin with, most of people who live in there country don't know about beautyfull and mind relaxation palces in there country in past decade. But after social meadia hipe, these hidden palces popular amoung peoples who love to travel and now create new trend to find this places. For an example, Sri Lanka is hidden gem of natural beautyful location. However, significat amount of people didn't know about them. Aftrer content creaters publish this places in Facebook and Instragram, now these places highly crouded. Secondly, If some one want to travel another country he should need high cost for that and lost of people can't do that.

On the other hand, in this time every one want to observe new places because of there are so many adorable places around the world that can't replce with anything. If some one want to watch this location then he need to travel that country and location.Geeza pirimid, great wall China, Nayagara water fall are best example for agree with this point. Moveover, most of travel gide books have been described some one really need to be a traveler then he can't stuck in there own country and he have to obsevr the world.

To conclude, there are some trend to abroad traveling between people, I belive in future large amout of individual relay on there own travel destination because of limited time and buget frindly for there pockets.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the question and give a position that broadly supports more domestic holidays, while also acknowledging that people may want to see famous places abroad. The examples of Sri Lanka’s natural attractions and the cost of overseas travel are relevant reasons. However, your position is not fully clear: the opening says you “accept this statement,” but the conclusion shifts to people relying on domestic destinations without directly stating how strongly you agree. Several points are asserted rather than explained, such as the claim that social-media posts have made places crowded. Develop each reason with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make your degree of agreement consistent from introduction to conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “Secondly,” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to track: the first body paragraph moves from local attractions to social media and then travel costs without clearly connecting these points. Some linking phrases are awkward or repetitive, and references such as “these places” are not always precise. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, explain it in sequence, and use transitions that show the relationship between ideas rather than simply announcing another point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “hidden gem,” “natural beauty,” “travel destination,” and “limited time and budget.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic language. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are frequent enough to make parts of the response harder to understand, as in “leassur activiry,” “social meadia hipe,” and “travel gide books.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “give some priority about the attractive places.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common collocations as complete phrases. Prefer clear, natural wording over ambitious expressions when you are unsure of the correct form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “because” and “who,” and you attempt to contrast ideas across paragraphs. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in sentence formation, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently. For example, “most of individual will choose” lacks correct number agreement, while “If some one want to travel another country he should need high cost” has problems with clause structure and verb forms. Several sentences also run together, as in the list of landmarks followed by “Moveover.” Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time; check subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries during revision.
