Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that many people will choose to go vocation in their own Nation instead of travelling to abroad. I partly agree with this statement because domestic trips are more convenient and affordable.
To begin with, there are various reasons are present there why people will choose own country for holidays. The main reason is that convenient. if individuals will choose own nation for exploring then it will be easy for them. Because travelling to abroad is consumed a lot of time. For example, if people will go abroad for vocation then they have to plain for at least one month instead planning. Consequently, they will waste their time.
Another reason is that cost effective. Travelling to abroad is more expensive as compared to travel their own country as they have to travel by air lines. Tickets of airlines are very expensive. Due to this, some people cannot afford to travel abroad. Rather then spending to much money on tickets, they prefer will choose to go on holiday in their own country. Furthermore, they will save their money instead of
wasting on accommodations on abroad because everything is to expensive there. I believe that if people will want to enhance their knowledge by exploring different countries and culture, it is best option for individuals to travel abroad because there are living distinct kind of people who belong to different culture and language.
Taking everything into consideration, I firmly agree this view that people will prefer to travel in their own country , I think they will learn more valuable things by exploring new things in abroad.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a relevant response and identify reasons for preferring domestic holidays, especially convenience and lower cost. The examples about planning ahead and expensive air tickets help explain these points. However, the position is not consistently clear: the introduction says “I partly agree,” while the conclusion says “I firmly agree,” and the final reference to learning about other cultures introduces a counterpoint without explaining how it affects your view. The discussion is also limited, with claims such as domestic travel being easier or overseas accommodation being expensive left only briefly supported. To strengthen the response, state one clear degree of agreement and develop each reason with a more specific explanation or example. The response meets the required length; 10 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Another reason,” and “Taking everything into consideration” make the main stages visible. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or connected mechanically. For example, the first body paragraph moves from convenience to time, then says travellers “will waste their time” without clearly explaining the link. The final sentence about cultural learning also sits awkwardly after the cost argument. Some linking expressions are used inaccurately, and the conclusion repeats the topic rather than resolving the mixed position. Organise each paragraph around one reason, explain it in a clear sequence, and use references and transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “domestic trips,” “affordable,” “airlines,” “accommodation,” and “culture.” There are also attempts to use less basic expressions, such as “cost effective” and “enhance their knowledge.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, word-form and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “go vocation,” “plain for at least one month,” “travel their own country,” and “wasting on accommodations on abroad.” Repetition of “people,” “travel,” and “own country” also limits precision. Build a bank of accurate travel-related collocations and check spelling and word forms; this will make your meaning clearer without requiring unusually advanced vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a conditional structure in “if people will want to enhance their knowledge…” and a reason clause beginning “because.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the intended meaning unclear. For example, “there are various reasons are present there why people will choose” has an incorrect clause structure, while “if individuals will choose own nation” uses an unsuitable verb form and omits necessary determiners. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “convenient. if individuals…”. Practise forming complete clauses, using present simple after “if” for general conditions, and checking articles, agreement and punctuation. More accurate control of these patterns would make your arguments easier to follow.
