Student answer (Band 5.0)
Going on Holiday is good idea to escape from stressful routine. It strengthens brain and body.
Currently many people prefer going on holiday near their home town.It is budget friendly, makes you feel at home, and less tiresome.People fine oppertunity to know their own community. Going on Holiday in your own country provides an opprtunity to spend time with realtives, know their happiness and problems. Developing tecnology is attracting people to developed countries. More people will prefer going on holiday abroad if their financial status allows them to go. But the increasing poverty in our country is a biggest hurdle. Many people cannot go on vacations even in their own country. They prefer working for their bread and to meet requirments of their family.
People belonging to upper middle class status make majority of our population. They will prefer visit their own country. It will not make them short of money. Our country has an excellent geographical location. There are mountains , rivers and lakes. You can visit Northern areas and enjoy greenfields covered with snow. If you go in winters you can also enjoy snowfall.
In my opinion people will prefer ging on holiday in their own country beacuse:
1-More members of family can enjoy.
2- It is time saving
3-It saves from harsh environment change.
4- Risk of spreading infectious diseases is decreased.
5- There are no visa and passport issues.
A friend of mine was unable to visit her husband in Dubai there was ban on flights due to Corona outbreak. She was forced to spend one and a half year alone here.
Every year we plan a trip to northern areas where we enjoy greenery and find escape from hustle
and bustle of cities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question and give a clear preference for holidays within your own country, supported by reasons such as lower cost, family time, avoiding visa issues, and enjoying local scenery. The examples of visiting the northern areas and your friend being separated from her husband during flight restrictions make the response relevant and personal. However, the position is not fully consistent: you also say that developing technology attracts people to developed countries and that more people will travel abroad if they can afford it. Explain how these points fit with your prediction, and develop a few key reasons more fully rather than listing five briefly. The claim about the upper-middle class representing most of the population also needs support or qualification.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has identifiable sections: an introduction, discussion of travel choices, a description of local attractions, and personal examples. This gives it some organisation, and the examples generally relate to the topic. However, progression between ideas is uneven. The shift from domestic holidays to technology and overseas travel, then to poverty, is abrupt, and the numbered list interrupts the essay’s flow. Some links between sentences are also unclear, such as how the statement about upper-middle-class families supports the earlier point about poverty. Use a consistent paragraph structure, with each paragraph developing one main reason, and connect examples explicitly to that reason. Avoid relying on a list in place of connected explanation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “geographical location,” “infectious diseases,” “harsh environment change,” and “hustle and bustle.” These choices help communicate ideas about travel and its practical advantages. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “oppertunity,” “requirments,” “greenfields,” and “harsh environment change.” Some phrases are also vague, such as “strengthens brain and body” and “know their happiness and problems.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret your meaning. Check spelling carefully and choose more precise collocations, for example, describing how a holiday helps people “relax and recharge” or “spend time with relatives and learn about their lives.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if their financial status allows them to go” and a relative clause in “where we enjoy greenery.” The main ideas are usually understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. Examples include missing articles in “Going on Holiday is good idea” and “is a biggest hurdle,” and an incomplete construction in “They will prefer visit their own country.” Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention: “Currently many people prefer going on holiday near their home town.It is…” runs together, while the opening fragment “It strengthens brain and body” lacks clear reference. Review articles, verb patterns after “prefer,” and sentence punctuation to make your varied structures more controlled.
