Student answer (Band 5.0)

Peoply likely to go on holidays to enjoy some time and release some stress in their own country as wellas abroad.

As long as my concern, people will go on holiday abroad mostly because there are too many places to spend holiday with their families or by themself. Most of the people want to explore different foods and different cultures, for that they have to visit different countries to discover.

Some of the people will spend their holiday in their own country just because of the expenses. As life is going fast and living standrad is going high and inflation getting disturb. In future, more will be the expensive to go on holiday abroad which stop the people to travel abroad.

I will avoid spending money to travel abroad for holiday beacuse it won't be affordable for me as inflation going high instead of that I choose to travel in my own country and help my country and community by contributing money and time.

I think spending holiday in their own country can help in economy and can discover the different thing which is not in their area to explore everyday. spending holiday is a good step to release stress and help their country people, if they need in their life by exploring something. Whenever, I get time I used to explore my country and different food of the local area and local culture which push me to think and work on that culture. So, if I can improve their culture in my country or over the world and can help my community as well by introducing their food and culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a relevant response by discussing why people may holiday at home, especially because overseas travel could become less affordable, and you state that you would choose domestic travel. However, the position is not fully consistent: the opening and second paragraph suggest people will mostly travel abroad, while later paragraphs support holidays at home. The task asks whether you agree or disagree with the prediction, so state your view clearly and maintain it throughout. Your points about inflation, supporting the local economy, and discovering local culture are relevant, but they are mostly asserted rather than explained with specific examples. Develop fewer ideas more fully—for instance, explain how rising travel costs might change a family’s holiday plans and give a concrete example of a local destination or benefit.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has some paragraphing, and the ideas broadly move from overseas travel to costs and then to domestic tourism. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the position shifts, and several points are repeated, particularly the benefits of exploring local food and culture. Connections between sentences are sometimes unclear: “As life is going fast…” does not clearly lead into the point about inflation, while “Whenever, I get time…” introduces a personal example without a clear link to the preceding claim. Use a clearer structure: introduce your position, develop one reason per body paragraph, and conclude by restating your view. Choose linking phrases that show the exact relationship between ideas rather than relying on loosely connected sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “inflation,” “affordable,” “contributing,” and “local culture,” which helps communicate your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “living standrad,” “inflation getting disturb,” and “more will be the expensive.” Some expressions are also vague or unnatural, including “discover the different thing” and “work on that culture.” Aim for accurate, natural phrases that express your meaning precisely, such as “the cost of living is rising,” “overseas holidays may become more expensive,” and “support local businesses.” Proofreading spelling and choosing more precise nouns and verbs would strengthen clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a reason clause in “just because of the expenses” and a conditional idea in “if I can improve their culture.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, articles, and agreement sometimes make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “As life is going fast and living standrad is going high and inflation getting disturb” is not a complete, well-formed sentence, and “which stop the people” does not agree with its subject. The final paragraph also contains sentence fragments and unclear clause connections. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check tense and agreement. Shorter, accurately punctuated sentences would help you express these ideas more reliably.
