Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadys, people will travelling to their own country not in abroad has become increasingly common topic. Some people choose to travel within the country because it is less expensive and aware of local culture. While I agree with this statement because traveling abroad have a long visa process and language barriers.
One significant reason is that on holiday people prefer to travel domestic because it is affordable. social media and great deals makes our travel itinerary less expensive. For instance, during summer vacation people start making plans in one week advance to visit manali before booking any hotels and resorts. So they take helps from social media and search for deals and offers for flight tickets, hotels and activities. As a result, we received affordable deals which we cannot afford for travelling abroad because waiting for long visa process and expensive flights which eat the whole budget.
Another major reason is aware of local culture. This is because no langauge barrier. People use their own common languages that is hindi or english to interact with the local tourist. For example, Suppose we visit to jaipur. There people use mostly hindi and it would be easy for individual to interact with local people for eating local food, rented cars and booking hotel or visiting famous places. As a result, it would be comfortable and easier to travel to enjoy their holiday which in case of travelling abroad it soemhow difficult because international country use their own local langauges like german, french and spanish etc which not easy for everyone to speak.
In conclusion, although travelling abroad boarden you horizons but it get difficult due to long visa process and language barriers which everyone cannot afford. However, travelling with in the country some how boring but it is affordable, safer and no language issues.Due to these reason people will choose to travel in their own country in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that more people will holiday domestically, and you give two relevant reasons—lower costs and fewer language barriers. The examples of planning a trip to Manali and communicating in Jaipur help connect these reasons to travel within India. This covers the task well, and the conclusion returns to your view. To develop the response further, explain more directly why these factors will lead to a future increase in domestic holidays, rather than mainly describing why domestic travel is convenient now. The point that domestic travel may be “some how boring” is introduced but not explained or reconciled with your position. More precise support and fuller development of this contrast would strengthen the argument further.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around separate reasons, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “One significant reason,” “Another major reason,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “As a result, we received affordable deals” shifts tense and does not clearly follow from the preceding sentence, while the transition from affordability to visa costs could be made more explicit. The second body paragraph also combines language, food, transport, accommodation, and sightseeing in a long sequence. Use clearer sentence boundaries and more precise referencing, and link each example directly to the paragraph’s main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant travel vocabulary, including “visa process,” “language barriers,” “itinerary,” “local culture,” and “affordable deals,” so the topic is clear. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the expression less natural. Examples include “aware of local culture” where you mean gaining familiarity with it, “travel domestic,” and “boarden you horizons.” There are also repeated forms such as “local” and “travel,” and misspellings including “Nowadys,” “langauge,” and “soemhow.” These errors do not prevent understanding, but they sometimes make the reader pause. Build a wider set of accurate travel collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “For instance.” The overall meaning is usually recoverable, but control is uneven: several sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, or sentence construction. For example, “people will travelling” needs a correctly formed future construction, and “social media and great deals makes” has a subject–verb agreement problem. In “While I agree with this statement because…,” the dependent clause is not joined to a complete main clause. Some sentences also run together, particularly in the Jaipur example. Practise forming complete clauses and checking verb agreement, tense consistency, and punctuation; this will make your ideas easier to follow.
