Student answer (Band 5.5)

many people will travel to thier home country in the future rather than exploring new countires. I totally agree with the statement because people will be comfortable to visit their own country and they have emotional bond with the people which is very important.

firstly, people will be planning thier vacation in their country becasue they feel it is very relexing while enjoying there vacation days. most of the people will not struggle to explore new places becasue it might be tricky to find suitable accomodation, but in thier own village or town they will have time to relex and recover from all the stress which was cause by workload. For instance, people visiting their home country will have plenty of time to relax as they already know the place very well.

secondly, people visiting thier home country have many connection which are important to them such as family and friends which give them a sence of peace as they will welcome them with open heart. Furthermore, they can spend time with their loved once that will help them to forgot every pain and anxity which was slowing them down. on the other hand, people visiting new places have many chalanges such as finding accomodation, planning and manage expenses. For example, people visiting thier home town or village will reduce thier stress level and give a peacefull atmosphere where they can relax and recover

To conclude, in the future people will visit thier home country more than visiting nre places becausr they know the home country very well so they can relax and recover from all the stress which was casued earlier and they have friends and family which help them to recover.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you agree that people will increasingly holiday in their own country. You give two relevant reasons—familiarity and the chance to spend time with family and friends—and support them with examples such as knowing the place and avoiding the challenges of arranging accommodation abroad. This addresses the task, but the reasons are not developed equally: the first paragraph repeats the idea of relaxing, while the second could explain more specifically why domestic holidays are likely to become more common in the future. The conclusion restates your view, though it mainly repeats earlier points. To strengthen the response, explain the causes or consequences of each reason in more detail and make the examples more specific.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted by “firstly” and “secondly,” and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from familiarity to relationships, so the overall arrangement is coherent. However, linking is sometimes mechanical, and some connections are unclear. For example, “on the other hand” introduces a contrast, but the sentence that follows continues the point about difficulties in visiting new places rather than presenting a clear opposing view. Repeated references to relaxing and recovering also make the progression feel circular. Use linking phrases that show the precise relationship between ideas, and organise each paragraph around one main reason with explanation and a focused example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your main ideas, including “emotional bond,” “suitable accommodation,” “workload,” and “expenses.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “relax,” “recover,” and “home country.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “thier,” “relexing,” “sence,” and “anxity,” which reduce accuracy and can make the reader pause. Some combinations are unnatural, for example “many connection” and “welcome them with open heart.” Build a wider set of accurate expressions for familiarity, travel planning, and emotional benefits, and proofread spelling and plural forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because,” “which,” and “as,” and your main meaning is usually understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, especially in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “many connection which are important” has a number-agreement problem, while “that will help them to forgot” uses an incorrect verb form. In “people will be planning their vacation,” the tense choice is awkward for a general prediction. Several sentences also run together or begin with a lowercase letter after a full stop. Practise checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and use full stops and capital letters consistently.
