Student answer (Band 5.5)
In future, a lumpsome amount of people will plan to spend vacation in their own country rather than travelling abroad.Mainly, It is caused by the rising taxes and high living style of people in our society. In this essay, I strongly agree with the circle of people who are ready to stay their home country other than travelling to another countries. Its because of their mindset of saving money.
The first and foremost fact is that many people like to choose their holidays in their country is due to their affection to explore the beauty of their nation in future. Mainly, people select this as a chance to study the historical, cultural and traditional histories of their nation.Thereby, they can transfer valuable knowledge and specialities of many places such as western ghats, waterfalls, historical places and freedom fighters to their future generations. As a result, they get a chance to share information to children. For example,In India, Tajmahal is considered as the seventh wonder in the world. Exploring these place help to get a rid from stress and strain.Secondly, travelling to places in own country is cost-effective.Each and every country has their own cash rates for travelling to a place. Some countries like India, the travel pass is cheap for visiting places.
On the other hand, travelling to other countries is costly. As a result, people cancel their desire to explore other countries. Moreover, some people do not have a knowledge about the people, place and language as well.Due to lack of confidence and self- awareness they dump the chance to travel abroad. However, if we do not travel to other countries, It destroys our chance to see the beauty of that place.
In conclusion,In future, people choose to spend their vacation in their own country rather than travelling to abroad is due to insufficient money, lack of knowledge and communication skills. In my opinion I strongly agree with the former statement that people will explore their vacation in their home country is a good one, because It is cost-effective and improve knowlede of our nation to children in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you strongly agree that more people will holiday at home, and you give relevant reasons, including cost and interest in national heritage. The examples of the Western Ghats and the Taj Mahal help connect your points to India. You also acknowledge a counterpoint—that staying at home means missing the beauty of other countries—which shows awareness of the opposing view. However, the discussion of cultural learning is more developed than the point about affordability, which is asserted rather than explained with a specific comparison or example. Some claims, such as people lacking confidence or knowledge about foreign destinations, are introduced but not fully supported. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation and a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons and a counterpoint, and a conclusion that restates your view. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the broad direction. However, links can feel mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. For example, the paragraph moves from learning about national heritage to stress relief and then to travel costs without a smooth transition. The counterpoint is also followed by “However” in a way that does not clearly show how the ideas relate. Group related points together and use referencing and transitions that explain the relationship between them, rather than relying mainly on signposting phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “historical,” “cultural,” “traditional,” “cost-effective,” and “communication skills,” which helps convey your main ideas. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For instance, “a lumpsome amount of people” is not a natural way to describe a growing number, and “the circle of people” does not express agreement with a group’s view. Phrases such as “explore their vacation” and “get a rid from stress” also show imprecise collocation. Aim for accurate, natural combinations and check spelling and word forms, including “knowledge.” Reusing a smaller set of precise expressions would be more effective than attempting awkward phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “as a result,” and “if.” This gives the response some variety, and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors in sentence construction, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur across the response. For example, “many people like to choose their holidays in their country is due to” combines two incompatible structures; “Exploring these place help” has a plural and verb-agreement problem; and “people choose to spend their vacation … is due to” is not a complete, well-formed construction. Capitalisation and spacing after full stops are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses while checking agreement, articles, and punctuation.
