Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern era, travelling is becoming an important part and parcel of life. It has been observed that wealthy people are tend to go on International trips quite oftenly. If questioned I strongly disagree with this opinions. My preference will explained in the upcoming paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.

The reason for my inclination is that in this contemporary era, people wish to travel the whole world. Firstly, they always prefer to go to out of country, because they want explore about other culture and traditions. For example, Countries like India is very rich in tradition, hospitality, and cultural differences. They have characteristic attire for different parts of that place. On top of that, International tourism can help to streghthen the shared bond between two countries. For instance, India and Nepal are always stick with each other in all problems. The main reason for that friendship is effective tourism.

Conspicuously this can lead to several notiable changes. Furthermore, If person has all the available balance to travel the world, they should go to different country and try to learn new languages. In this era everyone like be to be up to date with current affairs. Going out and exploring multiple countries is new flex for the youngsters. To illustrates, They want to gather all country patches and flexing on their freeze.

However, some people may counter claim that and say everyone should travel within the country. It will bring some fame and prosperity for their own country.

Based on aforementioned reasoning I still stand by my stance. Undoubtedly, travelling is a double edged sword but everyone needs to go to diffrent countries and figure out how they lifestyle is , how they are living, how they dress up and which language they speak.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you disagree that more people will holiday at home, and you give reasons such as interest in other cultures, learning languages and international connections. These points are relevant, and the India–Nepal example shows an attempt to support your view. However, the response only partly develops the task. The opening refers to wealthy people taking international trips, but does not explain how this supports a prediction about future holiday choices. The claim that tourism is the main reason for India and Nepal’s friendship is also asserted rather than explained, and the opposing view receives only one brief sentence. Develop two or three reasons with clearer links to the question and more convincing examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs, a counterpoint and a conclusion. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Furthermore” and “However” help signal movement between ideas. However, progression is not consistently clear: the paragraph beginning “Conspicuously this can lead to several notable changes” does not specify what “this” refers to, and the ideas about current affairs, being fashionable and collecting country patches are not clearly connected. Some linking phrases feel mechanical or do not accurately express the relationship between points. The counterargument is not developed before the conclusion repeats the position. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main reason, and make references and transitions more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “contemporary era,” “cultural differences,” “prosperity” and “double-edged sword,” and the topic is generally understandable. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “go to out of country,” “flexing on their freeze” and “stick with each other” do not communicate the intended ideas clearly. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “streghthen,” “notiable” and “diffrent.” Some expressions, such as “important part and parcel of life,” are used without adding much specific meaning. Choose simpler, accurate phrases where needed, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “If person has all the available balance to travel the world, they should go to different country.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “wealthy people are tend to go,” “My preference will explained,” and “they want explore,” where verb forms or required grammatical elements are missing. There are also problems with articles, agreement and sentence construction, as in “Countries like India is” and “everyone like be to be up to date.” The final sentence contains several clauses without clear punctuation. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences and proofread for verbs, articles and agreement.
