Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, traveling has become widely discussed issue. I completely agree that in the future, people will prefer to go on vacation in their own country rather than traveling abroad for vacation.
There are many reasons why I hold this view. The perdominant reason is a travel cost. Often, people spend a lot of money when they go to the different country for holidays. For example, people buy expensive flight tickts and also they stay in a luxury hotels which make their entire trip costly. Another important reason is a safety. In other words, individuals feel it more safe to travel in thier own country rather than going out of their country.
However, some people also believe that spending holidays in their own country can help their country's economy. For instance, people often travel to famous places of their country and do shopping their also eat in restaurants which eventually help local business grow. In addition, it also provide employment to local youth.
To conclude,I strongly agree that civilians will prefer to spend holidays in their own country rather than travelling abroad because it saves their money and also offer more safety for traveling.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you agree that people will increasingly holiday at home, and you give relevant reasons involving cost and safety. However, the response addresses the task only partially because these reasons are stated briefly rather than explained with specific, developed examples. The paragraph beginning “However” shifts to the benefits of domestic tourism for the economy, but the connection between this point and your prediction about future holiday choices is not made clear. The response is also 55 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your argument. Explain why these trends are likely to grow and add a concrete example to support each main reason.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “For example,” “In other words,” and “To conclude” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression between ideas is limited: the paragraph about the economy introduces a related but different point without clearly showing how it supports your agreement. Some connections are also mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “Another important reason” and “In addition.” Develop each paragraph around one clear point, then explain how the example supports it. A more explicit transition into the economic point would also make the overall argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “travel cost,” “flight tickets,” “safety,” and “local business.” There are also attempts to use more formal expressions, such as “predominant reason” and “eventually.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the response less natural: “a travel cost,” “a luxury hotels,” and “shopping their” are examples. Spelling errors such as “perdominant,” “tickts,” and “thier” are noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, use “the main reason is the cost of travel” and “shop there.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
Your writing is generally understandable, and you attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including “For example, people buy expensive flight tickts … which make their entire trip costly.” However, grammatical control is inconsistent. Errors include article and number agreement in “a luxury hotels,” subject–verb agreement in “it also provide employment,” and the comparative pattern “feel it more safe.” There are also punctuation and sentence-boundary issues, such as the missing space after “To conclude,” and the comma splice in “people often travel … and do shopping their also eat.” Practise accurate articles, agreement and sentence joining, and use a wider range of controlled complex sentences to make the reasoning clearer.
