Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people think that majority of individuals will give prefrence to their own country for spending their vacation rather than travelling abroad on holidays in the future. I fully disagree with this statement because of various reasons. I will discuss in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, people are living in modern era because of which they become habitual of technical gadgets. That is why they would not go to back their own nation during vacations as they can not get these facilities which they recieving in foreign countries. Secondly, they have a freedom in foreign nations, but they can not do anything in their own nation without permission of their parents and society. As a result, they would prefer another countries which provide same access.
Moreover, new generation are not interested in old fashion and traditions. When they visit their own countries, they have to wear old fashion clothes, and follow their traditions or rituals. Therefore, they would not choose to their birth place for enjoying their holidays. Furthermore, they do not like weather of their own country. For example, the weather of India is very hot during the summer season because of which people can not adjust in that weather. As consequence, masses will prefer travelling abroad on holidays.
In conclusion, some people opine that more people will choose to go on holoday in their own nation and not travel abroad on vacations. According to me, this is vice-versa. eveyone has become modern, and follow new life styles. Because of this , they will choose another counties for their vacations in the future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I fully disagree”) and remains consistent in the conclusion. You give several relevant reasons, including access to facilities, greater freedom, changing attitudes to traditions, and climate, with India’s summer heat as an example. This addresses the question, but some points are asserted rather than explained. For instance, the claim that people cannot access modern facilities in their own country, and the generalisation that young people must wear traditional clothes, need clearer support or qualification. Develop the strongest reasons with a specific explanation or example, and make the link to choosing overseas holidays explicit. This would make the response more fully developed and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. The ideas are grouped by reason, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with several claims joined by “That is why,” “As a result,” and “Therefore” without fully showing how one idea leads to the next. The reference in “they can not get these facilities” is also unclear because the facilities are not specified. Use fewer formulaic transitions and connect each reason to a concrete explanation or example. This would make the relationships between ideas clearer and cohesion less repetitive.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “vacations,” “traditions,” “rituals,” and “freedom,” and you attempt some less common expressions such as “modern era.” However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which can make the meaning less natural: “give prefrence to” and “choose to their birth place” do not express the intended ideas idiomatically. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “prefrence,” “holoday,” and “eveyone.” Build a more reliable range of phrases for discussing travel and preferences, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you express your reasons without relying repeatedly on “own country,” “foreign,” and “prefer.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “because of which” and “When they visit their own countries,” so there is some structural variety. However, errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction occur across the response. Examples include “majority of individuals will give,” “new generation are,” and “they can not do anything … without permission,” where the intended meaning and grammatical relationships need clearer control. The sentence beginning “people are living in modern era because of which…” is also awkwardly constructed. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and article use, and make complex sentences simpler when needed. Greater control would make your argument easier to read.
