Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world, many individuals will give more preferance to the other nations for travel on holidays rather than their own countries. I am strongly agree with this statement because technology and natural view of the foreign countries attract people more to travel.
To begin with, the first and foremost reason is technology and invention of new electronic gadgets which allows people to see beautiful places in other countries like social platforms Youtube. To be more clarify, these pictures and videos inspires them to visit those destinations and experience different cultures. For example, India rich families prefer to visit abroad by inspire through movies and vidoes to expereince tourist attractions and which ultimately helps to expand their knowledge and increase tourist income of the country.
Another reason is people prefer abroad because of natural beauty and for adventoures. In other words, usually developed countries are more clean and polluted safe and beautifful beaches, historical landmarks that people cannot find in their own country. Moreover, people can also particiapate in various activities such as skiing, hiking and scuba diving which helps to free them from their tedious ligfe schedule. As a result, they can gian a confidence and learn various kills like interpersonal , communication while meeting with new people.
Conclusion, holidays act as a stress buster and gives opportunity to an individual to visit new places and gain new experience. Abroad is a best plce to enjoy vocation because of its strict rules and proper maintence as compared to to the own country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear position in favour of the statement, and your two main reasons—online exposure to destinations and the appeal of scenery and activities—are relevant. However, the response does not consistently answer the precise prediction in the question: it argues that people prefer foreign holidays, rather than explaining why more people will choose holidays in their own country. This mismatch limits how fully the task is addressed. Some support is also unclear or under-developed; for instance, the example about Indian families does not explain how it supports the stated future trend, and the conclusion introduces “strict rules and proper maintenance” without developing these points earlier. Make your position directly about domestic holidays and support it with specific, clearly connected examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “To begin with” and “Another reason,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad sequence of ideas. However, some links are mechanical, and the progression within sentences is occasionally difficult to follow. For example, the first body paragraph moves from social media to Indian families and then to tourist income without clearly explaining the connections. The phrase “In other words” also introduces a related but not equivalent point. Use linking expressions only when the relationship is clear, and organise each paragraph around one main claim followed by explanation and a directly relevant example. Clearer referencing would also help readers track what “these pictures and videos” and “which” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to travel and tourism, including “historical landmarks,” “scuba diving,” “interpersonal,” and “stress buster.” These choices show some range beyond basic holiday vocabulary. However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision and can make parts of the message harder to understand. Examples include “preferance,” “adventoures,” “beautifful,” and “maintence,” as well as unnatural phrases such as “natural view” and “polluted safe.” Some wording is also vague, including “various kills,” which appears to mean skills. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common combinations such as “natural scenery,” “pollution-free,” and “gain confidence.” Choose precise terms that express the intended point rather than relying on broad phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, more complex sentences, such as the explanation beginning “To be more clarify” and the sentence about activities that “helps to free them” from a tedious schedule. This shows an effort to vary sentence forms, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “many individuals will give more preferance” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “I am strongly agree” uses an incorrect form of the verb. There are also agreement problems in “pictures and videos inspires” and “holidays … gives.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and sentence boundaries. Aim to make each complex sentence grammatically complete before adding further clauses.
