Student answer (Band 5.5)

Yes , I trully agree with this debate that people in future will go in their own country's tourist places for vacations rather than going abroad.

The Main reason behind this trend will be financial expenses. As we know , In todays modren and fast era inflation is getting very high and individuals do not have much resourses such as savings to afford international trips.

The second thing I believe is that in almost every country there are many beautiful places and breath-taking views in northen areas where people can easily enjoy their holidays in a manageable budget by spending quality time with their loved ones.Furthermore, spending holidys in their own country is time managing. they dnt watse their time by searching for dofferent hotels review, famous places to visit, transportation issues, and most importantly food and launguage barrier.

these are the main hurdles people face on international visit other than finacial affordability.

In their own country they are already aware of all these things. they know the best places to visit famous food and speciality of that particular place aware of weather conditions when its best time to visit the place to explore it and enjoy most.

On Top of that, the cost they had to spend for one international holidays trip, In their own country they spend 1/4 of that amount. and can visit every year at different places to enjoy nature , breathtaking views, culture and traditions of different regions as well as long lasting memories and exploring their whole country by visiting different places in a couple of days for every year.

These are the main reasons I believe that will rise this trend in future. And this will also boost the torisum and economy of their own country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the opening: you agree that people will increasingly holiday in their own country. You give relevant reasons, especially affordability, familiarity with local destinations, and avoiding travel-planning difficulties, and you connect domestic tourism with benefits to the national economy. These points address the question, but they are not all developed equally. For example, the claim that domestic trips cost “1/4” as much is specific but unsupported, while the point about saving time is listed rather than illustrated with a concrete example. To strengthen the response, explain one or two reasons in more depth and show how they make domestic holidays more attractive in the future.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable progression: it states your view, presents financial and practical reasons, and ends by restating the prediction and its economic effect. Connectors such as “The second thing,” “Furthermore,” and “On Top of that” help signal additions. However, the ideas are placed in long, crowded paragraphs, and some links feel mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “In their own country they are already aware” repeats the previous point without a clear transition, while the final sentence combines several benefits and becomes difficult to follow. Use separate paragraphs for each main reason, and make each paragraph develop one central idea with clear references and a concise concluding link.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “inflation,” “financial affordability,” “language barrier,” “breathtaking views,” and “culture and traditions.” This gives you enough language to communicate your main ideas, but the range and control are limited by repeated general wording such as “places,” “things,” and “enjoy,” as well as several inaccurate or misspelled forms, including “resourses,” “holidys,” and “torisum.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “time managing” and “international visit.” Aim for more precise travel-related expressions and check spelling and collocations carefully. This would make your meaning smoother and more exact without changing the ideas you are expressing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Furthermore” and a concluding sentence that links domestic travel with several benefits. However, control is uneven, and some sentences are difficult to process because clauses are joined without clear punctuation or complete grammatical structure. For instance, “they know the best places to visit famous food and speciality…” lacks clear separation between ideas, and “the cost they had to spend… they spend 1/4” shifts tense and does not form a clear comparison. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly after full stops and around commas. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using accurate clauses and consistent verb forms.
