Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary era, travelling play a significant role in people's life. Some people believe that most of individuals will prefer to go on vactions in their own nation instead of visit international countries on their holidays in the upcoming years. I partially agree with this view although people will choose their own country for travelling due to inflation, I think that abroad vactions will still remain popular towards the people such as it provide different experience.
On the one hand, there are many reasons about why people think residents will choose own country for travelling. One of the primary reasons is that enhancing the cost of abroad travelling day by day. In other words, most of low-class famailies would be avoid to go abroad during vocations due to high cost of tickets and other expensives. For example, people who are belonging to poor family they would experience financials ups and downs during making the plan of abroad trip.
On the other hand, the main reason is why will people still go on holidays in international countries. First of all, people will keen to experience other countries' s culture and language. People are elate to visit different types of places. In the abroad countries, they will have numerous places to visit. This development will build better relationship with other countries. which will be good for government.
Furthermore, people can learn about the other culture history and their traditions which will reduce the discriminations towards the other country. For instance, most of countries celebrate halloween even it is just about the one country.
In conclusion, although due to inflation people will choose to spend holidays on their own country, I think that abroad countries will remain popular for holidays trip which will provide other experience and people can learn about different culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question and state a clear, qualified position: you partly agree that domestic holidays may become more common because of inflation, while overseas travel will remain popular for cultural experiences. The two body paragraphs give relevant reasons, including travel costs, exposure to other cultures and learning traditions. However, these points are not developed equally. The financial argument is supported by a general example about lower-income families, while the cultural argument would benefit from a specific, clearly explained example. The Halloween example is difficult to connect to travel or reduced discrimination, so explain how visiting another country leads to that outcome. A more precise explanation of why these trends will shape future holiday choices would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. The contrast between domestic and international travel is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “Furthermore” help show the direction of the argument. However, some links are mechanical, and the progression within paragraphs is occasionally unclear. For example, the sentence about building “better relationship with other countries” shifts from individual travel experiences to government benefits without explaining the connection. The fragment beginning “which will be good for government” also interrupts the flow. Use clearer references and connect each supporting point explicitly to your main claim; this would make cohesion more consistent and less dependent on formulaic transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “inflation,” “financial,” “culture,” “traditions” and “discriminations,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. There are also attempts to use less common expressions, such as “financial ups and downs.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make ideas less precise: “vactions,” “expensives,” “elated to visit” and “other experience” do not fit naturally in context. Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly references to “abroad countries” and “people.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “the cost of overseas travel” and “experience a different culture.” More precise vocabulary and careful proofreading would improve clarity and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a concession in the introduction and clauses beginning with “although” and “which.” The main ideas are usually understandable, but grammatical errors occur across the response and sometimes make sentence relationships unclear. For example, “travelling play” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “people will keen to experience” is missing a verb. The opening sentence of the second paragraph also has an incomplete construction: “One of the primary reasons is that enhancing…” The fragment “which will be good for government” should be joined to a complete sentence. Practise building complete clauses and checking agreement, articles and verb forms, especially when combining ideas in longer sentences.
