Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's rapidly evolving world, travelling to distinct spots has become a subject of considerable debate. While I acknowledge that visiting different countries would give opportunity to know about various culture, I firmly believe that exploring own country will boost economy and expand opportunities for locals, as it offers significant benefits to individuals and society as a whole.
First and foremost, it is undoubtedly true that visiting our own country will play a pivotal role in countries economy. It is quite challenging for every individuals to visit foreign countries, because it is not affordable for everyone. There are numerous benefits of visiting their own countries, the most predominant one among them is that it helps to rotate money in their own country as well as boost tourism sector.
Furthermore, it is worrying challenge for governments to expand tourism without local support. In other words locals authorities can invest more money if they sees opportunities, so basically its resident's responsibility to provide initial support. Another benefit worth mentioning is that people can get to know about their culture and herritage. It will help citizen to spread and save their customes.
On the other side, some individuals distinguish that exploring is choice and there should be no limit. It seems logical to accept that people love to explore different countries, which enables them to get know about foreign policies and living style.
To conclude, from the points mentioned above, it can be recapitulated that both view have some crucial reasons. However, I personally opine that visting local places or own country will expland opportunities for residents and preserve culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you favour domestic holidays, especially because they can support the economy and help preserve culture. You also acknowledge the opposing view that people should be free to explore other countries, so the response addresses both sides of the question. The economic point is relevant, but it is asserted rather than illustrated: explain how spending by domestic tourists benefits businesses or creates jobs. The claim that local authorities can invest more if residents provide “initial support” is less clear and needs a more direct explanation. Your point about learning foreign lifestyles is also brief. Developing these ideas with specific examples and linking them more explicitly to why domestic holidays may become more popular would make the argument more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs, a counterargument and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First and foremost,” “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help readers follow the main stages. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, “In other words” introduces a point about local authorities that does not clearly restate the preceding claim about tourism, and “On the other side” is less suitable for introducing the opposing view. The conclusion says both views have reasons but does not fully reconcile that observation with your firm preference for domestic travel. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and make references such as “it” and “their” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic-related vocabulary, including “tourism sector,” “foreign policies,” “preserve culture” and “pivotal role.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic language, and the overall meaning remains understandable. Some less common expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “rotate money” does not convey the intended idea of keeping spending in the domestic economy, while “worrying challenge” and “expand opportunities” are awkward in context. There are also spelling errors, including “herritage,” “customes” and “visting.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your argument sound more fluent and credible without requiring more complicated vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a concession in the opening (“While I acknowledge…”) and a relative clause in “which enables them…”. These attempts help you express contrast and explanation, and the message is generally clear. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with agreement, articles and sentence construction. For example, “every individuals” should use a singular noun, and “if they sees opportunities” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “visiting our own country will play a pivotal role in countries economy,” the possessive form and article are missing. Review agreement and noun phrases, and proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control.
