Student answer (Band 5.5)
some people believe that in the future, more people prefer to go on holidays in thier own country and not travel abroad on holidays. I am completely agree with this statement that people will choose to go on holidys in their own country and there are so many reasons behind it ,and advantageous of it also.
There are so many reasons why people choose to go on holidays in their own country. The prominent reason behind it is that nowdays the prices of international flights are on peak because of more immagration of peole from country to another which might be a problem for most of the persons who have a low sources of income so that is why peole prefer domestic holiday as budget friendly.Additionally, as in todays competetitive society in every sector competition is very high peole are focusing to be a best and doing hard work to get promotions so people prefer to go on short term holidays in their own country then long term holidays in abroad which also lead to less travels to abroad.
On the other hand , going on holidays in own country had a large number of benefits also , as when we go to spend our holidays in our own country it might be a financial and time saving for us in comparison with abroad holidays , as example, less expense of flight tickets, and etc. Moreover, it is beneficial for our country`s economy too , as we spend our money in our own country then in others which might be beneficial for that country , spending holidays in own country are better option then in abroad.
To conclude, i personally think that spending holidays in own country is more convient and advantageous for peole then travelling to abroad for holidays .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear from the introduction and conclusion: you agree that people will increasingly holiday in their own country. You give relevant reasons, including the cost of international flights, limited income, time savings and support for the domestic economy. This addresses the task, but some points are more fully explained than others. For example, the link between workplace competition and choosing shorter domestic holidays is asserted rather than clearly demonstrated, and the economic benefit to the country would be stronger with a specific example. Develop each main reason with a brief explanation or illustration, and make the connection between rising travel costs and future holiday choices more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally follow a sensible order, and linking expressions such as “Additionally,” “On the other hand” and “To conclude” help signal movement between points. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. “On the other hand” suggests a contrast, although the paragraph adds further benefits supporting the same position. Several ideas are also joined in long sentences with repeated “as” and “so,” making their relationships harder to follow. Use more precise transitions and divide explanations into clearer sentences; ensure each paragraph develops one main point before moving to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “international flights,” “domestic holiday,” “low sources of income” and “country’s economy,” so the main ideas are understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices, collocations and spelling errors reduce precision. Examples include “prices … are on peak,” “immagration” and “a best,” while “holidays in abroad” is not a natural expression. Repetition of “people,” “holidays” and “beneficial” also limits flexibility. Build a more accurate range of phrases for costs, travel and economic effects, and check spelling and collocations when editing. More precise vocabulary would make your reasons clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because,” “which” and “when,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, some sentence structures and grammatical forms are inaccurate. For example, “I am completely agree” should be “I completely agree,” and “going on holidays in own country had” needs a more suitable subject and verb form. Articles and prepositions are also inconsistent, as in “in own country” and “in abroad,” and several sentences run together without clear punctuation. Practise forming accurate complex sentences, especially with articles, verb forms and prepositions, and use full stops to separate complete ideas. This will improve control without sacrificing sentence variety.
