Dear Randy,
I'm writing to suggest you to start playing cricket as you asked for my advise.
You are a chess champion, and I am a proud friend that you have earned many prices and awards. I am thrilled to learn that you have grown an interest to learn some outdoor games now , and my recommendation is to learn the cricket. Since childhood, we have watched many international cricket tournaments and have celebrated the victory of the Indian cricket team.
As you already know the rules and the structure of the game, it would be easy for you to play this sport. You live in Ahmedabad city, where many cricket clubs are available which offers professional coaching to new players. Why don't you join the Karnavati Cricket Club? It is nearby to your place and they provide opportunity to play in inter club cricket matches, which would be real fun.
Recently, due to project work, my lifestyle has become sedentary ; hence I am also planning to join the cricket club to play cricket. This would help me to stay physically active and enjoy my favorite sport. If you prefer, then I would like to join along with you so that we could live our childhood dream of playing cricket together.
I couldn't wait to live our dream, so kindly respond at your earliest convenience.
