we have been friend since childhood and know that you are an energetic person from the start I personally think that you should pursue with football because it will not only help to boost your stamina but also give you a lot of new experiences. This sport will be a best option for you as you love to running.

I am also thinking about joining a football team starting next month. I believe that we should join together so that either of would not feel alone during the training. It will be great opportunity for us to spend more time together and make more memories. I will talk with couch and send you any documents to fill out that are needed.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: recommending a sport (football), explaining how to learn it (joining a team/training), and suggesting learning it together. The tone is appropriate for an email to a friend. However, the explanation of how to learn the sport is somewhat brief. To reach a higher band, you could provide more specific details about the training process or where the team is located. Overall, the response is clear and fulfills the requirements of the prompt effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The email is logically organized into paragraphs, each serving a clear purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'not only... but also', and 'so that', which help the flow of ideas. However, there are some minor issues with referencing and sentence structure, such as 'either of would not feel alone', which slightly disrupts the flow. The paragraphing is appropriate for an informal letter, and the progression of ideas from the initial greeting to the suggestion and the closing is easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'energetic', 'pursue', and 'stamina'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'give you a lot of new experiences' (which is slightly unnatural) and 'best option' (should be 'the best option'). Additionally, there is a spelling error ('couch' instead of 'coach'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise control over common collocations and spelling to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as the 'not only... but also' construction. However, there are several grammatical errors throughout the text, including 'I received your a few day days ago', 'that which sport will be better', and 'as you love to running'. These errors are frequent but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, article usage, and ensuring that verb forms following 'love to' or 'should' are correct.
