Dear Raman,
I am writing this letter to give you an idea about sport that you could learn.
I personally recommend you to choose basketball. It boosts your energy, discipline and team work. The game basis on team work and good communication. Besides this, it needs more physical stamina and mental work. You can also get Job on the basis of this game in sports section.
My father is a basketball coach and he used to be an international player. You can save your money and time as you can come anytime that suits you. We have a ground in my town where you can learn the key steps and principles to play it. Besides this, we have a lot of grounds in the public area where you can practice to improve your skills.
I can also join you as I am free from next week. Moreover, we learn together and grow together.
I am excited to spend time with you through this opportunity.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5
The response successfully addresses all three bullet points of the task. You recommend basketball, explain how to learn it through your father's coaching and local facilities, and suggest learning together. The tone is appropriate for an email to a friend. While the ideas are relevant, some points could be developed further; for instance, the mention of getting a job in the sports section is slightly tangential to the request for advice on learning a sport. Overall, the message is clear, and the purpose of the email is fully achieved.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The email is logically organized with a clear progression of ideas. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Besides this', 'Moreover', and 'In addition' to link your sentences. However, the paragraphing is slightly disjointed; the transition between the benefits of the sport and the practical arrangements for learning could be smoother. Some cohesive devices are used in a slightly repetitive or mechanical way. Nevertheless, the message is easy to follow, and the structure is appropriate for a semi-formal or informal email.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'stamina', 'discipline', and 'principles'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'The game basis on team work' (should be 'is based on') and 'get Job on the basis of this game' (should be 'find employment in the sports industry'). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the range is somewhat limited. Improving your control over collocations would help elevate your score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'give you an idea about sport' (missing article 'a'), 'The game basis on' (incorrect verb form), and 'we learn together and grow together' (tense inconsistency; should be 'we could learn and grow together'). Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear throughout the email, and the mistakes do not impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
