Are you interested in this? Although there are lots swimming centre in our locality, the best one is Scuba Club, where we can do different water activities.

They have certifiied instructor who will help us to learn this skill. Moreover, our schoolmates were also joined this course, which help us to learn on a fast-pace with collabrotive teamwork. Recorded lectures willl be provided to learn individually as well.

I am keen to learn swimming, whereas I wanted to reduce my water phobia. It would be a great idea if we could join the classes together, as I am a beginner to learn this skill. This collaboration keeps me invovlved and motivated. Please let me know your suitbale time to join this, I would be gratefu if you could join this before the end of August.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.5

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You recommended swimming, explained how to learn it through the Scuba Club and instructor-led classes, and clearly suggested learning together. The tone is appropriate for an email to a friend, and the purpose of the letter is clear throughout. The ideas are relevant and sufficiently developed to meet the requirements of the task. To improve, ensure that your explanations are slightly more natural; for example, mentioning 'water phobia' is a good personal touch, but ensure the flow between the recommendation and the logistics remains smooth.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The email is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Although', and 'whereas' to link your ideas. However, some of these transitions feel slightly mechanical or are used with minor grammatical inaccuracies, such as 'whereas I wanted to reduce my water phobia', which does not quite fit the context of contrast. The progression of ideas is generally easy to follow, and the paragraphing is appropriate for an informal letter. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words would help elevate this score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. You use some good phrases like 'fast-pace', 'collabrotive teamwork', and 'water phobia'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'appreciiate', 'certifiied', 'collabrotive', 'willl', 'invovlved', and 'suitbale'. Additionally, some collocations are slightly off, such as 'in a pink of health' (which is an idiom, but used slightly awkwardly here) and 'need an assistance'. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for spelling will significantly improve your performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'need an assistance regarding to learn', 'lots swimming centre' (should be 'lots of swimming centres'), and 'schoolmates were also joined' (should be 'have also joined'). Some verb tense usage is inconsistent, particularly when discussing future plans. While you attempt complex sentences, the accuracy is inconsistent. To reach a higher band, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions. Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear, and the reader is never confused about your intent.
