Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: recommending a sport, explaining how to learn it, and suggesting you learn it together. However, the response is under the 150-word minimum requirement, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While the ideas are relevant, they are somewhat brief and could have been expanded further to meet the length requirement and provide more detail. For instance, you could have elaborated on why cricket is a good choice or described the learning process in more depth.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The email follows a logical progression, moving from the recommendation to the learning method and finally the suggestion to join together. However, the paragraphing is insufficient, and the use of cohesive devices is quite limited. Phrases like 'with all this' are used to transition, but the overall flow feels a bit disjointed. Improving the use of linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' would help to connect your ideas more smoothly and improve the overall structure of the email.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks variety and sophistication. You rely on basic terms like 'very famous', 'very easy', and 'good part'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to incorporate more precise and varied vocabulary. For example, instead of 'very famous', you could use 'highly popular' or 'widely played'. There are also some minor issues with word choice, such as 'overcome with our mistakes', which should be 'overcome our mistakes'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

Your writing contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in punctuation and grammar. For example, 'there are many academies are being run' is grammatically incorrect, and there are several run-on sentences or missing commas, such as 'Dear, Hitesh' and 'name of the sport is "Cricket" I think'. Additionally, there are issues with capitalization and sentence boundaries. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for punctuation errors will significantly improve your clarity and accuracy.
