Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response successfully addresses all three bullet points of the prompt. You recommend cricket, explain how to learn it through local centers or online courses, and suggest learning it together. The tone is appropriate for an informal email to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited; for instance, the explanation of how to learn the sport is a bit generic. To reach a higher band, you could provide more specific details about the local sports center or the nature of the online courses to make the advice feel more personal and well-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The email is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each focusing on a specific part of the task. There is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the recommendation, the learning methods, and finally the suggestion to join together. You use basic cohesive devices like 'As you know' and 'There are many opportunities', which help the flow. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or repetitive. To improve, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that the referencing between sentences is smoother to avoid a slightly disjointed feel in the second paragraph.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'insights', 'opportunities', and 'fascinating'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'in response of you letter' (should be 'to your letter'), 'advice you go for' (should be 'advise you to go for'), and 'fascinating to learn' (should be 'fascinated by learning'). These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not impede overall communication. Expanding your range of collocations and focusing on accurate word forms will help you achieve a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'for getting insights' (should be 'to get insights'), 'that hiring' (should be 'that hires'), and 'will be suit' (should be 'will suit'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some run-on sentences and comma splices, particularly in the second paragraph. The majority of your sentences contain minor errors in verb tense or preposition usage. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
