Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You recommended football, explained how to learn it by joining a local club, and proposed that you both join together. The tone is appropriate for an email to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the club has a 'wider football ground' and 'inter provience matches', these points could be expanded further to sound more natural. The response is clear and fulfills the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The email is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'To specify', and 'To be honest' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as 'For same, this club has...'. The progression of ideas is generally smooth, and the paragraphing is appropriate for the task. To improve, focus on using more natural linking phrases and ensuring that referencing (e.g., 'For same') is grammatically accurate.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'juveniles', 'vividly', and 'willingly'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'suggest you some usefulness' (suggest a sport) and 'inter provience matches' (inter-provincial matches). Additionally, 'juveniles' is a bit formal for an email to a friend; 'young players' or 'beginners' would be more natural. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precise vocabulary usage.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'as I know you since past 5 years' (have known you for the past 5 years), 'I am also willingly to join' (I am also willing to join), and 'Hope to here from you' (Hope to hear from you). While these errors are noticeable, they do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To reach a higher band, focus on verb tenses and ensuring consistent subject-verb agreement.
