I hope this email will finds you well. I heard that you are interested in taking part in anew sport. I have a perfect recommendation for you. Considering the area of your interest to improve your health and fitness, I would suggest you taking up Swimming. It is suitable for your overall body type.

It the centre of the town there is a sport centre. If you don’t know swimming, there is a coaching facility also available with qualified coaches. Swimming class will be starting from next week Monday. And also there will be time slots so you can choose your suitable time and as you are a student you will get extra ten percent discount. Registration is open online

I would also like to join this sport with you as I am also concern about my fitness. It will be the great way of keeping ourselves active and fit as well as we can spent quality time together. We could set specific days and times and improve our health.

I look forward to hearing from you soon. Also we can meet this weekend to discuss about it in detail.

Best wishes

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 8.0

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You recommended swimming, explained how to learn it by mentioning the sports centre and coaching facilities, and clearly proposed learning it together. The tone is appropriate for an email to a friend, maintaining a friendly and informal style throughout. The ideas are relevant and well-developed, providing enough detail to satisfy the task requirements. No parts of the prompt were omitted, and the purpose of the email is clear from the beginning.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The email is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'and also', 'if', and 'as' to link ideas. While the flow is generally smooth, the transition between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words or phrases to avoid a slightly repetitive structure. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate the recommendation, the practical details, and the suggestion to join together, which helps the reader follow your train of thought easily.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, such as 'recommendation', 'qualified', and 'registration'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'taking part in anew sport' (should be 'taking up a new sport') and 'I am also concern' (should be 'I am also concerned'). While these errors do not impede communication, they prevent the vocabulary from reaching a higher band. Using more precise collocations would enhance the naturalness of your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I hope this email will finds you well' (should be 'will find'), 'It the centre' (should be 'In the centre'), and 'It will be the great way' (should be 'a great way'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and article errors throughout. While these errors are noticeable, they do not cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
