Dear Priyanka,
I hope you are doing well. I m very happy to know that you are keen to learn a new sport with me and I m writing to give you some tips and ideas about benefits of playing sport and it will increases your level of confidence.
I would like to recommend a sport which is tennis. I can say it has various kind of benefits such as it will improve your physical and mental health that is more important as you are working as doctor. Also it will boost your productivity and consentration at work.
The best way to learn tennis is to join a club and be a member of it.Furthermore, at a club there are personal tutors which guide you well and give good advice about your diet and fitness specially, for beginners.
I m member of tennis club and I usually play tennis twice a week at Harrow lesiure centre. I choose friday and saturday, because I m having a week off. Moreover, the membership cost 18$ per month if you want to be a part of it you can join with me.We both can go together on weekend.
I hope this information find you motivated to join the club.
Yours lovingly,
Kaira Boss

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response successfully covers all bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly recommend tennis as a suitable sport for your friend, explaining that it improves both physical and mental health. You also effectively explain how your friend can learn the sport by joining a local club and taking lessons from personal tutors. Finally, you successfully suggest learning the sport together by offering to take your friend along to your club at Harrow Leisure Centre on the weekend. The tone is entirely appropriate for an informal email to a friend, and all ideas are adequately extended and supported throughout the text. Overall, this fulfils the requirements of Task Achievement at a high standard, aligning closely with Band 7 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is logically organised with a clear beginning, body paragraphs addressing distinct points, and an appropriate sign-off. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to separate the recommendation, the learning method, and the personal invitation. You make use of a range of cohesive devices, such as 'Also', 'Furthermore', and 'Moreover', to link your ideas together. While some of these transitions are slightly mechanical, the progression of ideas remains clear and easy to follow throughout the response. Referencing is generally clear, and the overall structure meets the requirements for a Band 6.5 or 7.0, supported by clear paragraph breaks and logical sequencing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using topic-specific terms such as 'membership', 'personal tutors', and 'fitness'. There are some successful attempts at less common vocabulary, like 'productivity', 'concentration' (though misspelled), and 'benefits'. However, there are a few noticeable spelling and word choice inaccuracies, such as 'consentration', 'lesiure', and 'a week off' instead of 'day off'. These minor errors do not impede communication, but they prevent the vocabulary score from reaching higher bands. The range is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, fitting the criteria for Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'I can say it has various kind of benefits such as it will improve your physical and mental health...' and 'if you want to be a part of it you can join with me.' There are several grammatical errors and punctuation slips present, including missing apostrophes in contractions like 'I m', a missing article in 'membership cost 18$', and subject-verb agreement issues such as 'this information find you'. Despite these errors, they rarely impede communication, and the meaning of your sentences remains clear. This balance of errors and structures fits comfortably within the Band 6.0 descriptors.
