IELTS Writing Task 1 question
Your English-speaking friend who lives in your town has asked for your advice about learning a new sport. Write an email to your friend. In your email:
- recommend a new sport that would be suitable for your friend to learn
- explain how your friend could learn this sport
- suggest that you both learn this sport together

Dear Sam,
I hope you are doing well. I am writing this email to give you an advice about learning a new sport.
There is a new swimming facility has opened up in the Atlas sport center recently. As you have above average physique with low body fat, I believe you should definitely pursue swimming as a sport. I have been thinking to join their swimming course for a while but could not do so as it is far from my home. Now that you are in my town, we should register for it together and it will make the journey to the sport center less mundane. As per my inquiry, we just need to complete their intermediate swimming course for 2 months. Post that, we will recieve a certificate and then we can participate in their monthly competitions.
Even if we don't compete in the events, I think we should learn swimming as it is one of those life saving skill that everyone should acquire.
