Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three parts of the task: you recommend horse riding, explain that you could visit a nearby riding school and learn with a coach, and invite your friend to learn alongside you. The reasons—your friend’s interest in nature and animals, fresh air, fitness, and confidence—are relevant and give the recommendation a personal basis. This meets the task well, though some points are only briefly explained: for example, you mention a coach and supporting each other but do not say what lessons or practice might involve. The invitation is clear, but the closing question, “What do you tink in my opinion right?”, makes your request for your friend’s view difficult to understand. Develop the practical details and express that question more clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The email has a recognisable progression: you introduce the sport, explain why it suits your friend, then describe learning together and close with a question. Paragraphing helps separate these stages, and the greeting and sign-off suit an informal email. However, some links between ideas are awkward or unclear. For instance, “The main thing is provide you confidence and ballance youre life” does not clearly connect the sport to its benefits, while “I think we go to each ader the horse riding scool” interrupts the flow because the intended action is hard to follow. The repeated use of “and” also makes several points feel like a list. Use clearer sentence boundaries and linking phrases to show how each reason supports your recommendation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “horses,” “nature,” “animals,” “fresh air,” “coach,” and “course,” so the reader can identify the sport and your plan. There are also attempts at more descriptive language, such as “a good experience” and “well-trained.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the message difficult to interpret: “waht kinde,” “choiche,” “abel,” and “each ader” obscure meaning. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “recommend you to” and “Contact with the animals is another advantages.” Build accuracy with common collocations and check spelling carefully; this will make your ideas sound more natural without needing unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including reasons joined with “because” and a plan introduced by “I think.” This gives the email some variety, and the main message is generally recoverable. However, sentence structures and verb forms are often inaccurate: “I highly suggest you my favourite sport” lacks a clear grammatical pattern, “The main thing is provide you confidence” needs a correctly formed verb, and “We must be go to learn” is not a valid verb construction. There are also errors in articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “another advantages” and “horse.I think.” Practise reliable patterns such as “I recommend that you try…” and “We could take lessons…” before combining ideas into longer sentences.
