Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5

You address all three requirements clearly: you recommend swimming, explain that Pauline could join the community recreational centre and book a coach, and invite her to go with you in the morning. The advice is relevant and your preference is clear throughout. You also give supporting reasons, such as the opportunity to reduce stress and the convenience of the centre’s opening hours. To make the ideas more fully developed, explain why swimming is especially suitable for Pauline, rather than relying mainly on general benefits, and give a little more practical detail about how she could begin, such as a beginner class or a first visit together. Overall, the email fulfils its purpose and gives the reader useful advice.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The email has a clear progression: you introduce your recommendation, describe its benefits, explain where and how Pauline can learn, and finish by suggesting that you go together. Paragraphing supports this sequence, and linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Additionally,” and “Furthermore” help connect the points. The closing is appropriate for a friendly email. Some transitions feel a little formulaic, however, and the sentence beginning “Which makes it convenient…” is a fragment that interrupts the flow from the previous sentence. You could connect it directly to the centre’s availability and vary the links with more natural references, such as “The centre also…” This would make the cohesion smoother while preserving the clear overall organisation.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of vocabulary for giving advice, including “community recreational centre,” “membership package,” “guidance and support,” and “hectic schedules.” These choices help communicate practical information, and the meaning is generally clear. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, though: “boast blood circulation” does not express the intended health benefit, “my personally preferred” is awkward, and “relaxation to body” is not idiomatic. There are also spelling and form issues, including “convient.” Aim to learn common word partnerships and check the form of each word in context. More natural phrasing would make the advice sound fluent and precise without needing unusually advanced vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mix of simple and more complex sentences, including “Swimming will be a new experience and a new skill for you” and the sentence explaining that going together could help you develop a fitness habit. The message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “sports activities which brings” has a subject–verb agreement problem, “It deliver” should agree with its singular subject, and “Which makes it…” is an incomplete sentence. There are also issues with articles and number in “in body” and “membership package.” Review agreement, sentence boundaries, and article use, then proofread each sentence. Greater accuracy in these areas would strengthen the range of structures you already attempt.
