Dear Osler,

Hope you are doing well. I am writing to discuss about sport game. which you want to learn and I can recommend to you.

Firstly, there are many sports games today. Personaly I would recommend you cricket sport game because that sport game would be very helpful in collaboration. You can enhance your not only physical but also interpersonal skills.

Secondly, you can learn that sport game after visting park and stadium. Also you can learn this game from you neighbour friend as well as you can hire trainer. you can learn that game after participiating cricket clubs because nowadays, in the town there are many clubs where you can learn sports games.

Finally, If you want to learn with me. We can start learning together next month becuse this month I am busy in my work so I have little knowledge about that game and we can join that game together.

Thankyou.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you recommend cricket, suggest ways to learn it, and invite your friend to join you next month. The recommendation is relevant, and the benefits of improving physical and interpersonal skills give it some support. However, the explanation of how to learn is less fully developed: visiting a park or stadium, asking a neighbour, hiring a trainer, and joining a club are listed, but you do not explain which option would be most practical or how your friend could begin. The invitation is also slightly unclear because you say you have little knowledge of the game. Add a specific first step and clarify that you can learn together as beginners.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The email has a clear overall arrangement, with separate paragraphs for the recommendation, learning options, and invitation. Sequencing words such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Finally” help the reader follow the main points. However, this pattern feels somewhat mechanical, and some connections between ideas are unclear. For example, “If you want to learn with me. We can start learning together” breaks one thought into two sentences, while the relationship between your limited knowledge and the invitation is not explained. The opening also moves abruptly from the greeting to the purpose. Use more natural transitions and connect related ideas within complete sentences to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main message, including relevant terms such as “interpersonal skills,” “trainer,” and “clubs.” However, the range is limited by repeated phrases such as “sport game” and “learn that game,” and several word choices or spellings are inaccurate. “Cricket sport game” is unnatural, while “collaboration” does not clearly describe the benefit you mean. Errors such as “Personaly,” “visting,” and “participiating” are noticeable and can distract the reader. Choose more precise expressions and vary references to the sport—for example, use “cricket,” “the game,” or “the sport” rather than repeating the same phrase.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including “You can enhance your not only physical but also interpersonal skills” and a longer sentence about joining clubs. However, some sentence structures and punctuation are inaccurate. “I am writing to discuss about sport game. which you want to learn” contains an incomplete sentence and an incorrect construction; “discuss” does not take “about” here. The sentence beginning “If you want to learn with me” is also incomplete, and “you can learn this game from you neighbour friend as well as you can hire trainer” has problems with possessives and articles. Check sentence boundaries, use complete clauses, and review articles and verb patterns.
