Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

You address all three points clearly: you recommend football, explain that your mother can connect Manpreet with a coach, and invite your friend to learn alongside you. The personal details about outdoor games and Messi make the recommendation relevant, while the coaching-centre information gives a practical next step. Your reasons for learning together—meeting and spending time—also support the invitation. To make the response more fully developed, clarify practical details such as when you could attend lessons or what equipment a beginner might need. The health benefits are relevant, but the point about sunlight and soil is less clearly connected to learning football. Overall, the purpose and friendly tone are clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The email has a clear overall structure: an opening, a paragraph recommending football, one explaining how to find a coach, and a final invitation. This logical progression helps the reader follow your advice, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore” show an effort to connect ideas. However, several transitions are repetitive or awkward, including repeated uses of “Moreover” and “So,” and “As” at the start of sentences does not always create a clear link. Some details in the final paragraph, especially the sunlight and soil point, interrupt the focus on learning together. Use fewer, more precise connectors and make each paragraph develop one main idea.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “coach,” “training,” “outdoor games,” and “physical and mental health.” Personal references such as “Messi is your favourite player” also suit the friendly email. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “interset,” “freinds,” “maintn,” and “jass” are difficult to interpret, while “listen that you want” is an unnatural expression. Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “start playing Football” and “one of the best football player in his time.” Check spelling carefully and learn natural collocations for recommending a sport and describing coaching arrangements.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, for example, “As I know from the childhood you like to play outdoor games” and “Let me know if you want … the coach.” This gives the email some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts less smooth to read. Examples include “Sport’s make you healthy,” “my mother know one coach,” and “this sport help both of us,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Verb forms are also problematic in “he had open” and “He trained student.” Articles, plurals, and sentence punctuation need attention too. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then review articles and plural nouns.
