The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.

The diagram shows the making of sugar from the sugar canes .
Overall, making of sugar is a very long process and requires a lot of patients and labor. The functioning of machines uses a lot of energy for manufacturing this sugar
It all starts from growing the sugar canes which take about 12-18 months which then gets harvested . After it gets harvested it is crushed through a machine to turn it into a juice.
When the sugar cane juice is made by purifying it trough a limestone filter, it is evaporated. This evaporated juice becomes and syrup and that syrup is then centrifuged in which the sugar crystal gets separated from the syrup. At the end the sugar crystals are then kept for drying and cooling which gives us our household sugar .
