The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Here given diagram shows the steps involved in how sugar is extracted from the sugarcane.

Firstly, Sugarcane need to grow on farmland, where growing phase involved 12-18 months. After that, it harvest either manually or with the help of heavy machinery, and then sugarcane have been gone for the crushing stage, where sugarcane crushed into the rolling machine, and sugarcane juice have been extracted from it.

Limestone filter used for purifying the juice. Once the juice purified in the filter, heated it into the evaporator where juice converted into the syrup. Then syrup have been bring to the centrifugal machine. Here with the help of centrifuge mechanism, sugar crystals can been separated from the syrup and stick to the wall of the machine. In last, these crystals are drying and cooling, which results as sugar.

In conclusion, Sugar crystals are made up from the sugarcane with the help of almost 5-6 different stages..
