How sugar is produced from sugar cane
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram illustrates how sugar is manufactured from sugar cane and the process.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that this is linear process of making sugar from sugar cane, has 7 stapes. Which starts with the farming of sugar cane and end with drying and cooling of sugar, it is complicated process.
Initially, starts with the growing sugar cane in agricultural land for 12 to 18 months, subsequently farmer harvest that sugar can and send to the Sugar factory where sugar cane crushed and the juice may extracted than that juice sends for the purification process into limestone filter after the purification process purified juice send for the heating and during this process all the water got evaporated.
On the next step all the syrup sends for the centrifuge machine and in this machine sugar crystals may got seprates from the syrup in the last step all the crystals may collected for the drying and Colling chambers.
so, it may be seen that making sugar from sugar cane from planting to processeing.
