The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.

How sugar is produced from sugar cane
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The process of making sugarcane from sugar is quite easy process.Without any difficult machines sugar from sugarcane can be made.For the first thing,it is needed to grow sugarcane tree.Generally,12-18 months that mean 1 year to 1.5 year is needed to grow sugarcane tree.Then we can harvest through machine or without machine.If we harvest through machine, it needs more time.After that we need to crushing sugarcane to get It's juice.We can seperate the solid part from juice by limestone filter.Then we have to give heat.We can take a big pot and then give heat to the juice.This process is called evaporation,After sometimes from juice, syrup will be making.Then we use cenrifugal machine to seperate sugar crystales from syrup.Then we need to dry them out by sunlight.Finally we get pure sugar from sugarcane.
