The diagram below shows the manufacturing process for making sugar from sugar cane.

How sugar is produced from sugar cane
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The given flowchart elaborate the step by step process production of making sugar from sugar cane.
Firstly, Sugar canes are grown in filed and perpared between periods of 12-18 months. After the plants are matur enough to cut then cut it with the using machines after that workers clean the crops and remove unnesscary parts like leaves by cutting it. The sugar canes are ready for curshing with the help of curshing machine and jusic are collected. Jusic purify with the help of limestone filter.Later the jusic were heated by external heat and the portaion of water can evaporate and it turn in to sugar syrup. Thereafter, syrup passthorugh procss called cntrifugtion in which sugar crystals can separated from syrup. Following the sugar are sent for drying and cooling.
In closing, the process of making sugar from sugarcanes is lenghty but it is understandable by simplify the process.
