How sugar is produced from sugar cane
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The diagram depicts the information about the process for manufacturing sugar from sugar cane. At a glance, harvesting is done by two methods they are, by manually and by machinary.
To begin with, sugar canes are grown first and it takes 12-18 months approximately. Afterthat, is is been harvested by 2 different methods and both are very useful first is by machinary and te another one is by manually. After this step, crusing process is carried out with the help of crushing machine and juice is taken out of sugar cane. Thenafter, juice is purified with the hlp of filter of limestone and heat is given and juice becomes syrup and been evaporated. Lastly, sugar crystals are seperated from the syrup with centrifugal pump and drying and cooling is applied and sugar is ready.
Overall, there are various steps to make sugar from sugarcane and the main steps are crushing, drying and cooling
