The diagram illustrates how sugar is produced from sugar cane.

Overall, the priduction of sugar from sugar cane consists of 7 stages, starting with growing the sugar cane and ending with drying and cooling to the final process. It is a man-made linear process.

To begin with, sugar cane is grown which takes 12-18 months to mature. Next, they are harvested by a hand or by a machine. Then, the harvested sugar cane is crushed in a machine and juice is produced. Following this, the juice is purified throught a limestone filter to remove impurities.

After that, the purified juice is heated and evaporated to from a syrup. Then, it is passed through a centrifuge to separate sugar crystals from thhe syrup. Finally, the producet is dried and c
