At the initial stage, the sugar can plant growing for 12-18 months. However, after developing the plant Harvesting with assist of truck or by hand made. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the process as sugar production and include several key stages, including the 12–18-month growing period, harvesting, crushing, filtering, evaporation, centrifuging, and drying. However, some descriptions misrepresent or add information not shown in the diagram. For example, the filter does not produce a “water drop” that is heated; rather, the juice is purified before being heated in an evaporator to become syrup. The claims that syrup helps make medicines and that the final sugar is “sweet and tasty” are unsupported. The overview also says the process “ended with makeing sugar” without clearly summarising the main transformation. Describe the stages accurately and avoid speculation to make the account more complete and reliable.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has an identifiable opening, overview, and two body sections, and it generally attempts to follow the process from growing to the final stage. This gives the reader some sense of sequence. However, progression becomes difficult to follow when stages are linked with unclear or unsuitable transitions, such as “On the other hand” and “As a result,” and when several steps are compressed into long sentences. The reference in “the small part of sugar” is also unclear. Use one paragraph for the overview and organise the details in clear chronological groups, with straightforward links such as “Next,” “After this,” and “Finally.” Ensure each sentence describes one or two connected stages.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some task-related vocabulary, including “harvesting,” “Limestone filter,” “Evaporator,” and “Centrifuge,” which helps identify the process. However, the range and control of vocabulary are limited, and several word choices or collocations make the meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “truck” for the harvesting machine, “converted into solid to liquis form,” “big cricle,” and “terminate this recycling process.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, such as “makeing,” “covereted,” and “madicines.” Aim for precise process language: for instance, say that cane is crushed to extract juice, which is then purified and heated. Check spelling and use natural verb–noun combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including an overview beginning “Overall” and a sequence introduced by “However” and “Moreover.” Nevertheless, grammatical errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “the process consists of several seven stages” has an incorrect construction, while “the sugar can plant growing for 12-18 months” lacks a correctly formed verb. Agreement and sentence structure are also problematic in “all the liquid are passing” and “Finally, evaporator it transform into Centrifuge.” Use consistent present simple passive forms for a process, such as “The juice is filtered” and “The syrup is then spun in a centrifuge.” Build shorter, complete sentences and check articles, agreement, and verb forms.
