Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover the main sequence from growing through harvesting, crushing, purification, heating, separation, and cooling, and you correctly include the 12–18-month growing period. The overview also identifies growing as time-consuming, although the diagram gives no duration for the other stages, so claims that purification takes a long time and crushing or harvesting takes less time are unsupported. Some details are also inaccurate: heating is shown to turn the juice into syrup, not to kill germs, and the final stage is drying and cooling rather than collecting the sugar in a container. To strengthen the report, describe the visible stages and outcomes precisely, and avoid adding purposes or comparisons that the diagram does not show.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response is divided into paragraphs and generally follows the process from cultivation to the final product, so the reader can identify its broad direction. However, progression is weakened by unclear or mechanical links such as “On the second hand,” and the opening promise to provide information does not help organise the report. The overview also groups stages by supposed duration, which is not supported by the diagram, rather than summarising the process as a whole. Use a clear overview followed by stages in sequence, and connect them with precise transitions such as “After harvesting” and “The resulting syrup is then separated.” This would make the relationships between steps easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “harvesting,” “crushing,” “purifying,” “syrup,” and “centrifuge,” which helps communicate the subject. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “Diagrame,” “sughar,” “crusing,” and “timming.” Several phrases are also imprecise or unnatural for a process description: “kill germs,” “proper sugar,” and “ready to eat” do not accurately describe the diagram’s stages. Build a more reliable set of process terms and check spelling, while choosing neutral descriptions of what is visibly happening. For example, say that heating converts juice into syrup and that the centrifuge separates sugar crystals from the remaining syrup.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, and articles recur. For example, “sugar cane growing timming is 12 to 18 months” lacks a clear grammatical construction, while “growing of sugar cane take lots of time” has subject–verb agreement problems. The conditional sentence “if you have proper machine then time will take less” is also difficult to control, and “we have to purifying” uses the wrong verb form. Practise forming accurate passive process sentences, such as “The juice is purified” and “The syrup is heated,” and check agreement and verb patterns in each sentence.
