Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You cover the main stages from growing the cane through harvesting, crushing, filtering, evaporation, centrifuging, and drying/cooling, and you include the 12–18-month growing period. The overview identifies a seven-stage process, which helps address the task. However, some details are unclear or inaccurate: the diagram shows both mechanical and manual harvesting, whereas you describe harvesting by a person and then say the cane is delivered by tractor, which may confuse the two methods. You also say the juice comes out as syrup after filtering; in fact, it becomes syrup in the evaporator. The claim that drying takes “one day or two days” is not shown. Clarifying these points and summarising the transformation more accurately would strengthen the response.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall sequence, moving from cultivation to the final drying stage, and paragraph breaks broadly separate the overview from process details. Some linking expressions, such as “after that,” “then,” and “with regards to,” help signal progression. However, the organisation is weakened by unclear transitions and repeated information: crushing and juice collection are described more than once, while “On the other hand” does not express a meaningful contrast between the final stages. The overview also combines several stages in a way that makes the process difficult to follow. Use one paragraph for the overview and then group the stages in order, with precise links such as “Next” and “Finally,” and clear references to each material as it changes.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant process vocabulary, including “limestone filter,” “evaporator,” “centrifuge,” and “sugar crystals,” which shows awareness of the diagram’s technical stages. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make the description difficult to read, for example “renderd,” “sryup,” “puriying,” and “centeifuge.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “sugar canes is go for crushing” and “liquid form juice come.” Aim for accurate process collocations and consistent terms: cane is “crushed,” juice is “filtered” or “purified,” and syrup is “heated” or “processed.” Proofreading spelling and choosing standard process verbs would make your meaning clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the sequence can generally be understood. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent. Examples include “sugar canes is go,” “it is harvest,” and “sugar crystals is leave,” where verb forms and subject–verb agreement are incorrect. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “in container” should be “in a container,” and several ideas run together without clear punctuation. The sentence beginning “With regards to the rest of discription” is especially difficult to follow because its clauses are not clearly connected. Practise forming accurate passive sentences for processes, such as “The cane is crushed” and “The crystals are dried,” before adding longer clauses.
