Student answer (Band 6.0)
It has been estimated that in coming days , all shoppings will be made through card or phone . Cash will not be accepted anywhere. I believe this is possible completely because already , many places are accepting only card rather than cash. It offers convenience and it is safe as well to cary card .
Today, many renown brands are finding it easy to go for online transaction because they dont have to handle huge currency at their outlets. It is also hassle free since we dont have to keep the change of currency and customer dealing is easy with card. Today , almost 70 percent of the businesses are using this service and feel comfortable with it . Therefore, it is fairly possible to see everyone using card or phones for any dealing. Another possibility is different banks offer discounts on their cards for shopping at selected brands. This also promotes the usage of cards for payments. Morover, salaries are also paid through online medium which further encourages this trend. Safety is another avenue to push people towards card. In underdeveloped countries where there is more robbery and street crimes, it is wise to keep your money in the form of card and use it for payments.
However, there are still some people who are not comfortable to use card . They use cash everywhere because they are not familiar with the technology . Mostly, they are elderly people who collect cash for their savings and keep itt with them for spending. For instance, many old age people dont know how to use card and so they dont give up using it.
In conclusion, i would say that time has come nearly when all payments will be through online mode of transaction . The fact that it offers ease and safety promotes this culture. Old generation may find it difficult to keep pace with this trend because they are not tech savy. However, they will have to mange with card payments in future .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you believe cashless payments are likely to become widespread, and you explain why some people may resist the change. The discussion of convenience, business handling, bank discounts and safety is relevant, while the paragraph about older people addresses the second part of the question. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that “almost 70 percent” of businesses use card payments is not supported or qualified, and the safety point about crime could explain more clearly how card use reduces risk. The concern about older people is also quite brief. Develop these ideas with specific consequences or examples, and distinguish between cash becoming uncommon and cash disappearing entirely, to make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, the main body explains the move towards cards and the reasons for resistance, and the conclusion restates your position. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these two sides, and connectors such as “However,” “For instance” and “Therefore” show the relationships between ideas. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. At times, though, linking is mechanical or the progression within a paragraph is loose: the discussion moves from business convenience to discounts, salaries and safety without clearly grouping these reasons. Some references, such as “this service” and “this trend,” are broad. Group related points and use more precise links between claims and explanations.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “online transaction,” “currency,” “discounts,” “payments” and “technology,” so the main ideas are generally clear. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “hassle free” and “street crimes,” but some choices are inaccurate or unnatural: “all shoppings,” “renown brands,” “avenue to push people” and “tech savy” weaken precision. Spelling and word-form slips, including “cary,” “Morover” and “itt,” are noticeable, although they do not prevent understanding. Aim for standard collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, use “shopping purchases,” “well-known brands,” “a factor encouraging people to use cards,” and “tech-savvy.” This would make your vocabulary more natural and precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause in “because they are not familiar with the technology” and a relative clause in “people who collect cash.” Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. Examples include “all payments will be through online mode,” where the article and phrasing need adjustment, and “they don’t give up using it,” which does not clearly express the intended meaning. There are also inconsistent sentence openings and punctuation, such as the comma spacing in “Today ,” and the lowercase “i” in the conclusion. Review articles, sentence boundaries and pronoun references, and proofread punctuation. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen control without sacrificing the range you already attempt.
