Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, Growth of digital resources to make transfers has increased at a swift rate due to which many indiviuals believe that use of bank cards and mobile phone will increase and they will completely wipe out cash as a medium of transactions in shops. As per my understanding i think that digital ways of transactions using mobile phone apps and bank cards will become prominent in future as it is more convenient and safer option than carrying cash everywhere. This essay will further explain reasons for my opinion.
To begin with online transfers help to better utilise our time whereas for cash transactions you always need to withdraw cash from bank account using Automatic teller Machines (ATM) or even if you already have cash in hand while making payment to need to make sure you have exact amount with you to complete transaction. Other than this Online transactions provides a well organised data online which can be accessed anytime but when you use cash to need to collect all receipts in order keep record of the expenses.
Although the influence of online transfers is increasing but there are still some people that would not give up using cash. There are numerous reasons behind it. Firstly they might not have proper knowledge about the softwares used to do these transfers, Seconly they do not prefer to change their habit of using money as they are resistant to change.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear view that digital payments will become more prominent, and you identify two reasons some people may resist: limited knowledge of payment software and reluctance to change established habits. However, the task is only partly developed. The question asks whether cash may disappear entirely, but your position says digital payments will become prominent without clearly deciding whether cash will no longer be usable. Your reasons for convenience and record-keeping are relevant, yet the concerns of cash users are only briefly listed and not supported with examples or explanation. The response is also 11 words below the required minimum. Develop the possibility of cash disappearing and explain, for instance, how lack of access to technology or concerns about privacy could affect people.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, the next paragraph explains advantages of digital payments, and the final paragraph turns to people who may prefer cash. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “Other than this,” and “Although” help signal these stages. This clear structure is a strength. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the final paragraph ends abruptly after two brief reasons, without a concluding sentence. The opening sentence is also overloaded, making the relationship between the growth of digital resources and people’s predictions harder to follow. To strengthen progression, use shorter topic sentences, connect each reason to its consequence, and add a brief conclusion that restates your position and acknowledges why cash may remain useful.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “medium of transactions,” “convenient,” “organised data,” and “resistant to change.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and attempts at more formal language are evident. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “Growth of digital resources to make transfers” is unclear, “wipe out cash” is informal for this essay, and “online transfers provides” contains a word-form error. There are also spelling errors such as “indiviuals” and “Seconly.” These do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and polish. Prefer established expressions such as “digital payment methods,” “replace cash,” and “keep a record of expenses,” and proofread spelling and agreement-related word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “as it is more convenient” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur and occasionally make sentences difficult to process. For example, “for cash transactions you always need to withdraw cash” needs clearer sentence framing, while “to need to make sure” and “in order keep record” have faulty verb patterns and missing grammatical words. In “online transactions provides,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the opening sentence has unclear sentence boundaries and capitalisation. Practise accurate clause construction, subject–verb agreement, articles, and infinitive patterns; then check each sentence for a complete, clearly punctuated structure.
