Student answer (Band 6.5)

Individuals might not prefer to pay by cash in shopping centers in the upcoming years. People are more interested to make all payments by their own cards and using their smart phones. I partially agree with this statement because masses can try to adopt new technical innovations such as using phones for paying payments. I will discuss many effective reasonable factors in the upcoming paragraphs.

The most positive factors is that this can helpful to make people's Livies more comfortable in futuristic years as compared to past. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons why some people might be reluctant to adopt it. However, the development is somewhat uneven. While the benefits of convenience and security are mentioned, the explanation remains superficial. The conclusion is incomplete, trailing off mid-sentence, which prevents a full summary of the position. To reach a higher band, you should ensure that each paragraph fully explores the 'why' behind your points with more specific examples and ensure the essay reaches a complete, logical conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'In addition to it' and 'For example'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural, such as 'In the other words' or 'To be explain it'. Furthermore, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the abrupt ending of the final paragraph disrupts the overall flow and coherence of the piece. Improving the variety and accuracy of your linking words will help your ideas connect more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'technical innovations', 'transactions', and 'cashless payments'. However, there are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'Livies' (likely meant 'lives'), 'paying payments', and 'futuristic years'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word forms are correct. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise academic terms would also help elevate your score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'They do not able to adapt' (should be 'They are not able to adapt') and 'People can make payment all over the world either they are sitting in local area or nation'. Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to limit the score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for verb forms would significantly improve your accuracy.
