Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is observed that with the passage of time payment mathods are changed. In my opinion cash payments would never be shifted to digital payments because cash payments are more reliable mathod of payments.
The payments through mobile apps are increasing day by day due to it provides easy mode of payments through mobile phone and you don't need to take cash in pocket. You can do any transaction through mobile phone and you just require your mobile and an internet connection and you can purchase anything without hasitation. The major drawback of this payment mathod is that you must have mobile internet on your device, otherwise you cannot do anything. For example, you have to pay for the fuel on gas station and you have payment in your banking app and the area where you are present is out of coverage in this situation you cannot do anything. On the other hand, if you have cash in your pocket you can do payment easily.
Similarly, the cash payments give us the sense of security and privacy. When we do payments through mobile applications or make transactions throgh credit card, the whole transactions history is shown to the concerned bank and the government authorities. In this way anyone can predict your upcomming expenditure, Consequently, your privacy is gone. But when we do payments through cash then no one has the history of our cosumption of money and we can conserve our privacy. For example, the tax regulation authorties are tracking our tansactions on banks and they can apply futher taxes on our profile after taking information of transactions.
An other problem with digitalization of payments are faced to our geriatrics. Such people are unaware such modrenization of payment mathods. They can do only cash payments and they do not have much information of technology.
In the conclusion, I want to say that the payments with digital apps are an important need of this time but now it cannot replace the current cash payment system.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons for resistance. The position is clear from the start. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide relevant examples, such as the issue of internet connectivity and privacy concerns, the arguments could be extended further to reach a higher band. The conclusion is a bit brief and could have better summarised the main points. Overall, the response is relevant and covers all parts of the task sufficiently.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, each focusing on a specific point. There is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'Similarly', 'On the other hand', and 'Consequently', although some transitions feel a bit mechanical. The referencing is generally clear, though there are occasional lapses in flow. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct arguments, which helps the reader follow your line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, but there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'mathods', 'hasitation', 'cosumption', 'authorties', and 'upcomming'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'digitalization', 'expenditure', and 'transactions', the range is somewhat limited. To improve, focus on accuracy in spelling and try to incorporate more sophisticated collocations to express your ideas with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'payment mathods are changed', 'the payments through mobile apps', 'an other problem'). Some sentences are slightly awkward, such as 'the payments with digital apps are an important need of this time'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to lower the score. Increasing your control over basic grammar and punctuation would significantly improve the clarity of your writing.
