Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the upcoming years, it might impossible for individuals to pay for goods by using cash. It is argued that the prominent mode of payment will be card or other mobile applications. In this essay, first I will discuss the causes behind this trend and then analyze its possibilty.
There are several reasons associated with this trend. To commence with, nowdays, people face difficulties while carrying cash for payment. As, they feel online payments more konvinent and stress free. Thus, it will be more common for individuals to use their cards instead of cash to do payments with more comfort. Furthermore, in this contemporary society, many payment applications like google pay or paytm offer variety of discounts to lure people toward online transaction. This will result increase the use of online methods and in future, many people start using this apps to get digital profit.
In my opinion, internet will largely impact society to use online payments and in next few year payment system will be completely change. Despite, many people will prefer cash for their transaction, but most of the people will adapt online payment methods to feel comfort in their life. Moreover, it is widely considered that in era of modernization technology is influencing people's life to become more tech savvy. So, it is definite that people will divert toward online payments.
In conclusion, it is apparent from the above discussion that main cause behind the raising trend of online payments is the comfort of using card or discounts offer by several payment applications. Growing acess to internet and the convinent way of payment will definitely force people to stop using cash for their payments.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons why some people might be reluctant to adopt it. However, the second part of the prompt—why people might not be happy to give up cash—is significantly under-developed. The essay focuses heavily on why people will adopt digital payments rather than exploring the concerns or anxieties of those who prefer cash (e.g., privacy, security, or the digital divide). The position is clear, but the development of ideas lacks depth and specific examples, which limits the score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To commence with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion', though some are used in a slightly mechanical or repetitive way. The progression of ideas is generally logical, although the transition between the discussion of benefits and the mention of those who prefer cash in the third paragraph is somewhat abrupt. Overall, the structure is sufficient to follow the writer's argument without difficulty.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several spelling errors, such as 'nowdays' (nowadays), 'konvinent' (convenient), 'acess' (access), and 'convinent' (convenient). While the meaning is generally clear, the word choice is somewhat basic. The use of 'digital profit' is an awkward collocation, and the essay relies on repetitive phrasing like 'online payments' and 'payment methods' throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'it might impossible' (missing 'be'), 'in next few year' (missing 'the' and pluralization), 'payment system will be completely change' (incorrect verb form), and 'discounts offer by' (should be 'offered'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. The control of articles and verb tenses needs significant improvement.
