Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is argued that the wether traditional payment method will be obsolete after a some years, while alternatives methods, such as credit card may get more importance. Although this change has been growing unprecedentdly, I believe that the cash payment method may have great importance in people live's. This traditional method is more being adapted by traditional people because of technology ilteracy and privacy concerns.
One major reason why I believe that cash payment method is more adaptable is that less awareness among old people. This is because it has been seen in many undeveloped countries where people use cash money to pay their bills because they are not able to use the alternative methods. As they do not know how the AMB machines works. As a result, they feel more secure and pay bills with any hesitation.
Another significant factor is privacy concerns. It is the fact that when banker issue credit card to citizens they take information about their bank accounts. However, sometimes this can cause of scams because scammers can use the information of criminal activities and they can pull out people money from bank without their consent. As a consequence, cyber crime can increase in socity and individuals can go in debt.
Moreover, alternative methods of payment are more accessible and convenient. because people do not have to take money with them to do shopping. Nevertheless, it is some benefits, grey hair people fee;l more comfortable with cash money because they think it is more secure to handle and does not require knowledge of technology.
To sum up, even though credit and debit card has been becoming more common among society, cash money has been adapted more by old people. I believe that this question is subjective because the mode of payment is depend on people personal circumstances.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless society and the reasons why some people resist this change. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'undeveloped countries' and 'AMB machines' is a bit vague and could have been more effectively linked to the broader global context of digital exclusion. While the main points are relevant, they lack depth and specific, well-explained examples to fully support the arguments. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One major reason', 'Another significant factor', and 'To sum up', which helps the reader follow the flow of ideas. However, there are instances where the connection between sentences is slightly mechanical or awkward, such as the transition between the discussion of privacy and the subsequent paragraph on convenience. Referencing is generally clear, but some sentences are disjointed, which occasionally disrupts the smooth progression of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are several spelling errors ('wether', 'ilteracy', 'socity') and word-choice inaccuracies ('grey hair people', 'take information', 'pull out people money'). While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the presence of these errors limit the score. To reach a higher band, you should focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding informal or repetitive phrasing. The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main points, but it does not demonstrate a wide or flexible range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('credit and debit card has been becoming'), incorrect article usage ('the wether'), and awkward phrasing ('the mode of payment is depend on'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with sentence fragments and comma usage. While the meaning is usually clear, the frequency of these errors suggests a lack of control over more complex structures, keeping the score in the 5.5 to 6.0 range.
