Student answer (Band 7.0)
In the coming years, using a cash to pay for the purchase in the market may not be a option. All the money flow will be controlled by cards and mobile phones. This essay will explain why this cannot be happen for all the world and people will be not satisfy with this trend.
To begin with, usage of cash will never be out of fashion. For centuires, money has been used in multipal physical forms such as salt, gold, animals and cash. In the current era, many applications are used in mobile phone to pay for items in shops, however, all the world is not digital yet. Many nations like Africa where electricity is still a dream, people still use money to pay for their purchase. For those using an internet and online application is not a practical choice. Apart from this some develop countries such as Canada and America are already using digital platform for daily life trasncations.
Furthermore, many people will not be content with altogether to stop using cash for many reasons. Not only it provides a real sense of actually owing a money, but also a person can keep the paper notes and use when need arise. For example, during pandemic, many bank limits the withdrawal limit, which was not sufficiant to cover the whole family expenses as only one person hold bank account in large families. Therefore, families went through hardships despite having money in their accounts. As a result, mostly people are keeping cash on the side for unforeseenable time.
In conclusion, although many nations are develop and becoming a cashless, yet other nations are still going through building a basic infrastruture and proivde basic amenities. Hence, using a cash for money movement will be always a option in coming furture.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the likelihood of a cashless future and the reasons for public resistance. The position is clear throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the point about infrastructure in developing nations is relevant, the example regarding the pandemic and bank withdrawal limits is a bit anecdotal and could have been more clearly linked to the broader argument about financial autonomy. The essay covers all requirements, but the depth of analysis is limited, keeping it at a solid level where the main points are relevant but could be more extensively supported with more sophisticated reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used to signal the structure. However, there are instances where the flow is slightly mechanical, and some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. Referencing is generally clear, though some phrasing, such as 'all the world is not digital yet', is slightly awkward. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate, and the logical flow is sufficient to guide the reader through the argument without difficulty.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'infrastructure', 'amenities', and 'unforeseeable', which is positive. However, there are several spelling errors ('centuires', 'multipal', 'trasncations', 'proivde') and some awkward collocations ('money flow', 'keeping cash on the side'). While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more precision and better proofreading. The range is sufficient for the task but lacks the flexibility and sophistication required for a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as article misuse ('using a cash', 'the coming years'), subject-verb agreement issues ('many bank limits'), and awkward phrasing ('this cannot be happen'). While the writer attempts complex sentences, these often contain errors that slightly distract the reader. Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of grammatical slips prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. The errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding the writer's intended meaning.
